PVSchools is excited to share the outstanding achievements of the Horizon Indoor Percussion Ensemble (HIPE), which has once again demonstrated its exceptional talent and dedication by securing the title of Arizona state champion. This prestigious accolade was awarded at the eagerly awaited WGAZ Percussion and Wind Championships, a platform that showcases the best of the state's musical talent.

In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, HIPE excelled in two competitive categories, claiming victory in the Percussion Scholastic A and the Percussion Scholastic A Momentum Division. Their performance, marked by precision, creativity, and an undeniable passion for music, earned them a score of 90.975. This remarkable score signifies the highest achievement since 2015, setting a new benchmark for excellence.

Under the guidance of their dedicated instructor, Kyle Hollerbach, these young musicians have demonstrated that perseverance, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence can lead to remarkable outcomes.
